KOMU 8 News

2017-2021

I started working at KOMU as a Production Assistant and was able to quickly learn the basics of television news. I currently work as a general assignment reporter and have had the opportunity to anchor several newscasts. I’m also able to produce a full newscast.

• Reported on Mid-Missouri local issues, laws, businesses, schools, breaking news, etc 

• Pitched original stories, wrote and edited multiple scripting formats (e.g. VO, VO/SOT, packages, live shots, etc.)

• Anchored various evening newscasts covering local, state, national and international topics  ​
